Scrye is an iOS app that helps you understand and manage your screen time. This policy describes how Scrye handles your data.
Screen time and app usage data — Scrye uses Apple's DeviceActivity framework to read your device usage. This access requires the Family Controls permission, which you must explicitly grant through iOS. All processing happens on-device and this data is not transmitted externally.
App settings and preferences — Your app settings, limits, and preferences are saved locally on your device using iOS standard storage.
Scrye does not require an account and does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, location, or contacts. There are no third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs in the app.
Scrye does not share data with third-party services. The app relies on Apple's Screen Time API, which operates within iOS and is subject to Apple's own privacy policies.
This policy may be updated as the app evolves. When changes are made, the date above will be updated and material changes will be noted in the App Store release notes. Continued use of the app following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
This policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
